In these days of shrinking budgets and tightening belts, a new agency has launched in London with a mission to Make Digital Marketing Work. The agency is Interactive Mix who make some bold claims on their newly redesigned website. Their aim is to offer a new approach to Digital Marketing and a new approach to the Digital Agency Model. Managing Director, Aaron Savage is a veteran of the industry with more than twelve years experience spent with agencies such as 90s trailblazers Bluewave and most recently as Head of Digital at integrated agency WDMP. He has spent his career working across the world in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Sydney, Singapore and Europe.
The offline world has a model where there is a top table of agencies - typically the advertising or brand agency - and they are more than suppliers to a client; they are trusted partners. The problem with Digital is that most offline agencies who have that top table position see digital as a production issue, but digital is much more than guys cutting code and working with Photoshop. Digital is strategically and creatively important to brands. The nature of digital is also quite fragmented with many disciplines associated with it. What is missing is an overarching strategy which binds it all together, and we offer a strategic model that will allow brands to put digital marketing at the very heart of their communications.
